According to World Israel News, Palestinian Foreign Minister Maliki says the Palestinian Authority (PA) will meet with Israel to discuss a “two-state” solution, but only if Russia hosts the meeting. Maliki says the PA is not comfortable with the strong relationship between the United States and Israel.
After President Trump declared Jerusalem to be the “Capital of Israel” and moved the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, the PA announced that it was breaking off diplomatic contacts with Washington.
But in February, PA President Mahmoud Abbas told Russia’s government-owned Sputnik News: “I have agreed many times to President Putin’s offer to hold a trilateral meeting in Moscow. We trust President Putin, and we’re ready to accept his invitation at any time. However, Netanyahu always evades these meetings.”
We must pay close attention to what is going on in Israel.
God’s Word says in the “latter days” Russia will lead a coalition of Islamic nations in an attack on Israel (see Ezekiel 38 and 39). From all accounts, it looks as though that coalition may be forming right now. That’s why it behooves all of us to make sure we are ready to meet Jesus face to face, no matter when Jesus may choose to call for us.
