Oklahoma State Democrat delegates elected new leadership and re-elected Alicia Andrews of Tulsa as the 2021-2023 Oklahoma Democrat Party Chairman with 65% of the vote.

In 2019 Andrews, a local Realtor and former Tulsa County Democrat Party Secretary, was elected as the first African American and first African American Women in Oklahoma history to chair the Oklahoma Democrat Party. Andrews earned her degree in psychology from the University of Oklahoma and has been a real estate consultant for nearly 14 years.

Former State Rep. Eric Proctor, D-Tulsa, will be vice chairman. Rachael Hunsucker, an accountant from Coweta, has held the treasurer’s seat for the past four years and was re-elected as Treasurer. Nana Dankwa, Oklahoma City Council 2021 candidate, won the secretary seat.
