Jake Bay of Under The Sun Garden Center, 8998 S. Sheridan Road, holds a frozen turkey donated to help John 3:15 Mission gather a goal of 5,000 turkeys to give to Tulsa’s poor and to provide meals for the homeless during the Thanksgiving season. Under the Sun has allowed the Christian mission to park a refrigeration trunk at the business for several years. John 3:16 Mission hands out free bags of groceries before Thanksgiving and provides free special Thanksgiving dinners for seven days around the holiday.
