Voters in Tulsa County who want to vote absentee in the March 3 Presidential Primary should apply soon, according to Tulsa County Election Board Secretary Gwen Freeman.

Even though the Tulsa County Election Board can accept applications for absentee ballots until 5 p.m. on February 26, Freeman said voters should apply now.

Forms are available at the Election Board office at 555 N. Denver Ave.

An online version is at www.elections.ok.gov.

Ballots must be in the hands of election officials by 7 p.m. election day to be counted.

“While anyone can vote absentee without giving a reason, the law still provides several advantages to absentee voters in some categories,” Freeman said.
