The Girl Scouts of America love to celebrate the success of girls and women.

Except for conservative women.

After Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett was confirmed by the Senate in October, the GSA posted a congratulations to Barrett on Twitter and Facebook. Barrett is the third woman to be named to the court.

That did sit well with liberals and Democrats.

There was such an outcry on social media that the GSA deleted their post. Liberals made comments like:

  • “There’s no requirement to celebrate someone just because she identifies as a woman.”
  • “I will no longer buy Girl Scout cookies but I will make my own.”

So, the Girl Scouts backed down for the sake of political correctness while issuing a statement that the organization is “not political.”

That didn’t stop the GSA from praising former First Lady Hillary Clinton in 2013 after she had started her 2015 presidential campaign.

The national leadership of the Girl Scouts USA is totally political. They have bought into radical feminism hook, line and sinker. They messed up by congratulating a judge appointed by a conservative president.

Is this really an organization that American families want to influence their young, impressionable daughters?

Maybe everyone should make their own cookies from now on.
