After nearly 20 years of newspaper sales in the Tulsa County Courthouse, the operator of the snack bar is refusing to sell the Tulsa Beacon any longer after a customer “threatened” her if she didn’t remove the paper.

When asked if what kind of “threat” the customer posed, she refused to say. The snack bar is not operated by the county but by private ownership. The new owner welcomed the paper when she took over in the last part of 2020.

“The left is all about censorship,” said Charles Biggs, owner and editor of the Tulsa Beacon. “We don’t know who is behind this attempt to stop our news but it won’t deter us. This kind of persecution of conservatives and Christians is increasing all over America. People can subscribe and we still have other locations where we sell the newspaper.”

The Tulsa Beacon is a legal newspaper. Call 918-523-4425 to subscribe or go online at www.tulsabeacon.com.
