Since the November 2020 election, gas prices have spiked up 77 cents with the highest price in the San Francisco Bay area at $3.94 per gallon and diesel fuel pushing $4 per gallon in Tulsa. I can remember way back when we paid 11 cents a gallon for diesel  and the in the gas wars of the early 1980s paying 19.9 cents per gallon in Tulsa.

Unfortunately, I was an independent in the oil business in the mid-1980s and had asphalt-based oil go for $7 a barrel when the cost at the pump was $11 per barrel (you do the math).  Often times, one man’s gain is another man’s loss.

One of the “biggies” for Trump was that the first time in history were energy independent, selling oil to other countries and all of the natural gas that South Korea use to fuel their cars and buses, now that we can liquify natural gas.

It was a win-win for the buyer and seller and for President Biden to nullify that seems to me to be political insanity.

Oh, I forgot about “global warming.” It reminds me of a billboard advertising on a church sign that read, “Global Warming??? You ain’t seen nothin’ yet.”
