Brady Manek hit a career-high 31 points Saturday as Oklahoma raced past TCU 83-63 in Norman.

Manek drained a career-high seven three-pointers.

“We had better ball movement today than what we have had,” said OU coach Lon Kruger. “Our guys did a good job of breaking down the defense with the dribble drive and kicking it out to our shooters. We did better making the extra pass. When you do (that) good things happen for you offensively.”

“It’s amazing that we gave him that many open looks, but to his credit he knocked them down,” said TCU coach Jamie Dixon said. “He trails and spots up, we just didn’t do a good job of finding him.”

Austin Reaves had 14 points and Kristian Doolittle scored 11 points for the Sooners.

Oklahoma hosts Mississippi State at 1 p.m. Saturday as part of the Big 12/SEC Showdown.

Oklahoma hasn’t won in Waco since 2016, a year Oklahoma made the Final Four. Baylor swept the Sooners last season.

OU lost to No. 1 Baylor 57-61 Monday night in Waco. Manek had 21 points to pace OU.
