On January 23, the Osage County Republican Party in their 2021 Biennial Convention voted to censure Oklahoma U.S. Senators Jim Inhofe and James Lankford because of their “failure to support President Trump and the will of their constituents.”

Party Chairman Wayne Hill said both Republican senators have an open invitation to go before the Osage County Republican Party and defend their actions.

The censure is a formal rebuke but carries no legal impact. Both Inhofe and Lankford voted to accept the Electoral College results without demanding an investigation into voter fraud in several states.
