The Oklahoma Church Security Association will host a Basic Church Security Seminar in Claremore November 16-17  at Calvary Free Will Baptist Church, 1921 Holly Road, Claremore.

“This seminar’s content is directed toward church security team staff and hospitality/greeter staff,” said Bill Kumpe, Founder and administrator of the Oklahoma Church Security Association. “Pastors and senior church staff who wish to attend may opt out of the afternoon hands on sessions and either leave at the lunch break or stay and observe.  If a sufficient number of pastors request it, we will provide a separate pastor’s executive briefing which provides more content concerning the need for church security, basic organizational and leadership principles and legal issues.  If you are a pastor or senior staff member and wish to attend one of these separate briefings please contact us.”

Total enrollment is limited to 100 participants.  Only pastors and senior church staff can enroll for the morning only session.  Morning only enrollments are limited to 50 participants.  Because of the nature of the instruction, enrollment is limited to 25 participants in each of the two afternoon hands on sessions.

Enrollment is by invitation only.  Prior approval is required for all attendees.  Public record background checks will be conducted on all prospective enrollees.  Attendees will be required to sign a complete release of legal liability.   CLEET certified LEO’s and Security personnel should notify us in advance so that we can contact CLEET about possible Continuing Education Credits.

There will be no charge but a love offering will be taken to help defray the expenses of the instructors.   Contact Bill Kumpe at bkumpe@cox.net or phone at 918-381-9792 for further information or to reserve your slots.
