Country Music Star David Nail will be the prelude to the Tulsa Golden Hurricane football home opener on Sept. 10. Nail will perform at the Chapman Live Concert Series on Chapman Commons prior to the Tulsa vs. Northern Illinois game.
Nail is most prominently known for his Number One singles “Let it Rain” and “Whatever She’s Got”. The Grammy-nominated singer has three top 10 albums and eight top 40 singles. He has also been nominated for the Academy of Country Music (ACM) and Country Music Television (CMT) Awards.
Pre-game tailgating at Chapman Commons begins at 1 p.m. and entertainment starts at 2 p.m. with the Brad Duvall Band. Nail will take the stage at 3:30 p.m. There is no charge for the concert series. Kick off is at 6 p.m. at H. A. Chapman Stadium
