Georgia’s Republican Governor recently signed into law a bill that bans an abortion if the baby’s heartbeat is detectable.  And now several other states are pursuing similar legislation.

This bill has driven pro-abortion advocates crazy, because it exposes the lies they’ve been telling the American people for the past fifty years . . . Lies that have resulted in the abortion of over 61.3 million unborn babies in the United States since the 1973 Supreme Court Roe v. Wade decision.

Advocates for abortion have always told us the embryo growing inside a pregnant woman’s body is nothing more than “a blob of tissue” or a “mass of cells” somewhat like the growth of an unwanted tumor – and it can easily be removed and properly disposed of, just like any other medical waste.

But now we know that is nothing but a bald-faced lie.  Through the increasing use of sonograms at pregnancy centers, and the advancement of pro-life legislation, like this Heartbeat Bill, the American people are beginning to see the truth:  Unborn babies are human beings created by Almighty God, and endowed by God himself to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.  And they must be protected. Pro-abortion advocates will continue fighting this through the court system.  But we can readily see that God is exposing the lies of the evil doers, and the light of His’ truth is shining through.  So let us keep on praying for those who are trying to do the right thing, and that God’s will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
