Is Tulsa Public Schools teaching Critical Race Theory to its students?

That racist dogma has been banned from state curriculum by state law yet it seems to be filtering back in with the help of TPS Superintendent Deborah Gist, a devoted liberal.

CRT teaches that white people have always been oppressors in America and that all minorities have been victimized by all white people.

It is sweeping across the county – except in states like Oklahoma where it is against the law to teach it.

Imagine a teacher in an Oklahoma public school telling a third grade white boy that he is a racist simply due to the color of his skin. This dogma teaches just that. It condemns white people not on the basis of their behavior but on their ethnic background. It ignores equality.

Gist has claimed that it is not being taught in Tulsa Public Schools. That may be technically true but it is being taught to TPS teachers in mandatory training sessions. And because of that, it will eventually filter into the curriculum.

God help the teacher in Tulsa Public Schools who believes that “all men are created equal.” That just doesn’t fly with CRT.

More and more families are fleeing public education because of these Marxist philosophies and the poor test scores that plague state schools.

The people through their lawmakers have spoken and CRT needs to go. If administrators disagree, they should find work elsewhere.
