In August 2019, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) passed a resolution praising the values of “religiously unaffiliated” Americans, claiming that they were the “largest religious group within the Democratic Party.”
The resolution, which was unanimously passed at the DNC’s summer meeting on August 24 in San Francisco, was championed by the Secular Coalition of America (SCA), an organization that lobbies on behalf of atheists, agnostics, and humanists on public policy.
The DNC resolution says, “Religiously unaffiliated Americans overwhelmingly share the Democratic Party’s values” and then adds that the DNC “should advocate for rational public policy based on sound science and universal humanistic values.”
That attack on religious values was bad, but now it seems the Democrat presidential candidates are going even further. All of them, except for Bernie Sanders, claim to be Christians, and yet they support many things that are incompatible with Christian teaching. For example:
- Abortion anytime during pregnancy – even killing newborn babies if the mother so desires
- Same-sex marriage and the homosexual LGBTQ+ lifestyle
- Marriage between consenting individuals (even brothers and sisters) as is the allegation against Ilhan Omar, the Democratic Congresswoman from Minnesota (www.washingtonexaminer.com)
It seems the Democrats are developing a “new” religion – a religion that enables you to do whatever you want to do, whenever you want to do it, and with whomever you choose to do it with, as long as it is consensual. And they’ve even incorporated into their “new” religion some of Jesus’ teachings about “feeding and clothing the poor” and “setting the captives free.”
However, under the Democrat’s “new” religion you are not required to obey, honor, and worship God Almighty, the God of Creation. No, in their minds, that is just an old religious belief that no longer applies to today’s generation. They believe we’ve progressed far beyond that antiquated thinking – we’re living in the “new age” and have become more enlightened through modern science and education. And as a result of their more intelligent, global, progressive vision for humankind, they believe we must write our own rules in order to meet the changing social mores – and we’re capable of governing ourselves – and therefore, America no longer has a need for God Almighty.
Warning: Don’t let yourself, or members of your family get caught-up in this false doctrine. This anti-Christian philosophical theory is coming directly from Satan himself . . . and God will not be mocked.
