Congressional Democrats, Democrats running for president, never-Trumpers, the liberal news media and Establishment Republicans all have one goal: overturn the 2016 election of President Donald Trump.
They were shocked when American voters rejected the liberal agenda of leftist Democrats and Hillary Clinton – perhaps the worst candidate in presidential history. Even before Trump’s inauguration, operatives in the Dark State and the intelligence community were plotting to overthrow a duly elected president.
It has been documented that 93 percent of the coverage of Trump has been negative. The news media literally hates him and wants him gone.
The 20 or so Democrats running for president can’t hide their hatred for Trump and they have an incessant chant to start impeachment. House Speaker (Nervous) Nancy Pelosi, D-San Francisco, has put the brakes on the impeachment for two reasons. One, the Senate would never remove Trump even if the House impeaches him. Secondly, Pelosi knows that impeachment would backfire on the Democrats because the American public knows what a sham it would be.
Pelosi and her underlings in the House have accomplished nothing since they took control because they are paranoid that any cooperation with Trump would damage their election hopes in 2020. And they don’t have the time to fix the border crisis, submit a budget or do anything else that’s constructive because they are too busy rehashing the Mueller report, which found no collusion between Trump and Russia and exonerated him on obstruction of justice.
How long will the nation put up with this nonsense?
By the way, every time a congressional Democrat or candidate gets on TV, they call America a “democracy.” The United States is a republic, not a democracy.
Democrats need to let go of their loss in 2016 and their personal hatred of President Trump and start working on helping solve the nation’s problems.
