We are living in a world of instant information, and yet, we seem to be learning nothing.  Our leaders appear to be living in an imaginary world – they stumble around from one crisis to another without ever truly seeing, and admitting what has gone wrong.

For example:  The Biden/Harris administration tells us the southern border is closed, and yet, Customs and Border Protection reports apprehending 188,829 people attempted to illegally cross the southern border in June 2021.

This is the highest number in more than 21 years – and – there is no estimate of the number of illegals who successfully eluded U.S. Border Patrol Agents.  (Washington Examiner Newspaper)

And to make this illegal invasion even worse, government busses and airplanes are transporting these illegals to various inland cities all over the United States, and dropping them off, without any notification to local city, county, and state officials.

These secretive shipments of people have been verified by photos, video, and reports from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) employees (whistleblowers).

This is reminiscent of the days of the prophet Hosea when God said, “My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.”  Our problems today are even greater, because people are seeing what’s happening, but they refuse to believe what they are seeing!

God warned the people: “There is no faithfulness, no love, no acknowledgment of God in the land.  There is only cursing, lying and murder, stealing and adultery; they break all bounds, and bloodshed follows bloodshed.  Because of this the land dries up, and all who live in it waste away . . . (see Hosea 4:1-2 NIV).

Our government leaders, and even some religious leaders, are stumbling around, feeding on the sins of the people; seeming to relish in their wickedness.  Some prominent leaders appear to dearly love these wicked, shameful ways, because they keep encouraging and condoning it more and more, just as they did in Hosea’s day (see Hosea 4:5, 8, 18 NIV).

We are ignoring God’s Laws, and we are relying more and more upon man-made rules; rules which are constantly being changed to meet the every-changing whims of man.

Through the prophet Hosea, God said, “My people consult a wooden idol, and a diviner’s rod speaks to them.  A spirit of prostitution leads them astray; they are unfaithful to their God” (Hosea 4:12 NIV).

We are doing the same thing today.  We constantly stare at our Smart Phones looking for answers – answers that come from artificial intelligence created by man – and not the truth that can only come from Almighty God.

Will we ever learn?  Will we ever come to our senses, repent (turn away) from our wicked ways, and return to God?  I pray that we do before it’s too late.
