This is a horrible story that should never occur in America.

U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace, R-South Carolina, sent a letter to Dr. Anthony Fauci and the National Institutes of Health demanding information about reports that taxpayer funds from Fauci’s department were used to experiment on puppies in gut-wrenching scenarios.

In her letter, Mace asked Fauci asked for the truth about taxpayer-funded experiments on puppies in which the dogs (mostly beagles) were debarked, drugged and then killed. Republicans and Democrats in Congress signed on to the letter.

The White Coat Waste Project filed a Freedom on Information Act request to see how the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Disease spent more than $400,000 on canine experiments in which beagles were infected with parasites via biting flies. These otherwise healthy puppies were given an experimental medication before being infected with a parasite carried by the flies.

According to those records, the poor dogs “endured months of pain and once the researchers were done with them, they were killed.”And the amount of funding could have been as much as $1,680,000.

Apparently, the “scientists” preferred using puppies because they were easy to work with and very compliant with the humans they mistakenly trusted.

Both Democrats and Republicans must investigation and put an end to this barbarism against Man’s Best Friend.
