Filing for area school boards and municipal elections in Owasso, Skiatook and Sand Springs will be from December 3-5.
All the filings will be at the election board office at 555 N. Denver Ave., said Tulsa County Election Board secretary Gwen Freeman.
If two or more candidates file for any school board election, a primary will be held on February 12. In that election, a candidate who gets 50 percent of the vote plus one will be elected. If no candidate gets more than 50 percent, the top two vote getters advance to the general election April 2. If only two candidates file, they advance to the April 2 election.
