First Tee of Tulsa will hold it’s third annual “Masters Classic” fund raiser at Flying Tee, April 10, from 4 – 8 p.m.
The First Tee of Tulsa is a program I have long believed in and supported because of the impact it makes in young people’s lives. The program was established in 1999, with the purpose of teaching valuable life skills to Tulsa youth through the game of golf. Both of my children went through the program when they were younger. Through participation in The First Tee, children learn positive values such as honesty, integrity, self-discipline, perseverance and sportsmanship. Over 75,000 children have been involved in The First Tee of Tulsa.
This fundraiser will enable First Tee of Tulsa to expand the program to even more young people over the next year. There are several levels of sponsorship and participation, but all include four hours of virtual golf at the Flying Tee in Jenks. Also, participants will receive a gift bag, food and cocktails, and will be entered in drawings for several prizes. Winning teams will be awarded prizes in different categories.
