STILLWATER – Oklahoma State is sending a record 12 athletes to the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Four men’s golfers Wyndham Clark (USA), Viktor Hovland (Norway), Alex Noren (Sweden) and Kris Ventura (Norway) will compete in men’s individual golf.

Maja Stark (Sweden) will be competing in women’s individual Golf.

Men’s track and field athlete Jacob Fincham-Dukes (Great Britain will be competing in the long jump

Women’s track and field will see four athletes. Ariadni Adamopoulou (Greece) will compete in the pole vault. Chase Ealey Jackson (USA) is in the shot put competition. Gabija Galvydyte (Lithuania) will run the 800 meters. Ieva Zarankaite Gumbs (Lithuania) will be throwing the discus..

Men’s tennis player Aleksandr Nedovyesov (Kazakhstan) will compete in doubles.

Women’s soccer player Grace Neville will be on the New Zealand soccer team.

Oklahoma State has produced 121 Olympians all-time and entering the 2024 Paris Games, 34 earned a medal – 21 gold, five silver and eight bronze.

OSU has been represented at every Olympic Summer Games in which the United States has competed in since 1924.

Oklahoma State has produced at least one medalist in 19 of the last 20 Olympic Summer Games in which the United States has competed since 1932. The lone exception was in 1972, when the Henry Iba-coached Team USA men’s basketball team chose to not accept silver medals following a controversial result against the Soviet Union in the gold medal game.
