An unexpected pregnancy can be an emotional rollercoaster for some women.

In a vulnerable moment, pregnant women can be coerced into going to an abortion clinic to destroy their unborn child. Boyfriends, parents, employers and even husbands force them to make a decision that will take a life and damage their life forever.

More and more, frantic women are using the “morning after pill” (Mifepristone). What these women are not being told by the abortionists who administer these death pills is that their effects can be reversed.

If the abortionists truly believed in choice, they would inform women that they have some time to reverse this horrible decision.

The Oklahoma Legislature passed Senate Bill 614 by Sen. Julie Daniels, R-Bartlesville, and Gov. Kevin Stitt signed it. This new law requires that women be told that the initial stage of the abortion drug can be reversed.

But this genuine choice is bad for business, so the Tulsa abortion clinic (with the encouragement of out-of-state abortion advocates) is suing to have that law overturned.

In other words, the “choice advocates” want liberal judges to deny choice to pregnant women.

The Center for Reproductive Rights, a New York-based pro-abortion organization, also wants to overturn two other Oklahoma laws – one that bans abortions after 14 weeks of pregnancy and another that makes a woman wait 72 hours before legally getting an abortion.

Life begins at conception. Fortunately, women who make the mistake of beginning the morning after abortion pill can change their minds and save the life of their babies.

Abortion should be abolished in Oklahoma and the United States. Until legislators develop enough courage to push back on the overreach of liberal judges, protection of unborn children will evaporate.
