The National Football League has canceled the annual Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio.

The Pittsburgh Steelers were supposed to play the Dallas Cowboys in the first exhibition game of the 2020 season. The game is always a part of the enshrinement weekend at the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Before the cancelation, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine said if the game were played, it would be without any fans in the stadium.

Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium has a capacity of 23,000.
