Tulsa City-County Library (TCCL) and the Hispanic Resource Center promotes and celebrates Hispanic culture year-round. During September and October, Hispanic Heritage Month provides additional opportunities for TCCL to share many colorful traditions of Hispanic heritage.
This year’s online celebrations, from Sept. 15-Oct. 15, include cooking demonstrations, a virtual event with award-winning author Felicia Rose Chavez, a community mural project and more.
The annual celebration is coordinated by TCCL’s Hispanic Resource Center, which provides cultural, informational and educational resources, as well as activities and services for both Spanish-and English-speaking families.
