With the fairly recent spate of “mass shootings” that has occurred, the cry has again been raised to institute “gun registration” on a national basis as well as in some states.  History has proven time and again that when guns are outlawed or confiscated (bought back), the statement, “When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns,” has been proven to be totally true.  It seems to me that those clamoring the loudest and most violent for this form of enforced slavery are the ones that tend the most toward Communist/Fascist/Socialist and the dictatorship that is necessary to keep such a form of ruling in place.

Unfortunately, the major media appears to be totally captured by improperly educated or totally misguided “journalism graduates” who will do and say anything to further that agenda of radically changing the form of government we were given in the Constitution of the United States of America.  In my mind they are just as much guilty of revolution, and sometimes treason, as the most violent of protesters, more properly called just rioters, if reporting was done truthfully.

Back to the subject of guns.  Some time ago, an email was received by me, and promptly forwarded to my list of regular recipients, that was titled “Lazy Glock.” If memory is serving correct, it was prepared by the sender Jim Solomon, referred to by me as YRH (Your Royal Highness) from his family name.  While not repeating the entire wording carried therein, the essence was that having laid his Glock pistol on a table near the front door, it sat there harmless all day while numerous individuals of all ages, both sexes, and from different groups of financial position and ethnicity came and went.  Not a single one was killed, or even suffered a cut or bruise.

So you can see that neither guns, automobiles, trucks, boats or airplanes on their own accord can do harm to anyone.  Each must be used as a weapon by a person before any damage can be done.  For that matter, neither can babies or small children.  And yet even those have been used by strapping bombs to their bodies and sending them into crowds where the bomb is detonated to kill as many “infidels” as possible by the most extreme radical members of the religion of Islam.  That is not to say that all who follow this faith would stoop to such evil and radical actions, in the name of their God, but even one is too many and most may be encouraged, or even ordered, to carry out such nefarious conduct by the more extreme members of their clergy.

It follows than that those of other religious faith, or none at all, can be induced, some being of lesser civil mentality, seeking publicity and a feeling of power to attempt similar actions to affect the well-being of the rest of us.

All too often, there are reports, after the fact, that such have shown similar tendencies, but the reports, even from police blotters, have not been sufficiently wide distributed.  There has even been a report that a recent mass shooter had been turned down for a legal gun purchase by the screening process but then had acquired the weapon he used in a private purchase.

In such a case where the buyer had been turned down, both buyer and seller should be brought to justice with the most severe penalties rendered.

Along that line, it has occurred to me that in the present system, when a prospective buyer has passed the electronic check and approved to purchase, a certificate, or approval card should be issued so that it would not be necessary to go through the expense and delay for future purchases. If he/she did something later, that would render the carrier ineligible the card or certificate holder would have to surrender it, just as with a driver license.

We all need to be alert and watchful and report any evidence of a person’s strange actions.  There also needs to be better connection and reporting of such so that the process can be more reliable.  Further, we need to keep in mind that those who scream the loudest and are demanding, or campaign promising, to “take all military style guns away” are very likely to be considering something nefarious in the future.  In the world of politics and criminal activities, those most likely so inclined will be the ones shouting the loudest to disarm the law-abiding population so that they might not be confronted.  This is all being done with the ultimate goal of a world dominated by a dictatorial and repressive government that has no respect for others and intends to keep us all in poverty and prison like subjugation for their own comfort and enrichment.  Should they succeed, the living conditions in the world would make the situations in Europe under the Nazi “Socialist Republic of Germany” seem like a playground.
