Liberals in New York City are getting a taste of their own medicine. New York leaders advocate an open border as long as the illegals stay in Texas, California, New Mexico and Arizona. But Texas Gov. Greg Abbott is fed up with Joe Biden’s unwillingness to enforce federal immigration laws. His policies prompted an invasion that potentially could bring nine million illegals into the United States, with millions coming into Texas.

So Abbot is putting illegals on buses and sending them Washington, D.C., and New York City. Abbott said,  “In addition to Washington, D.C., New York City is the ideal destination for these migrants, who can receive the abundance of city services and housing that Mayor Eric Adams has boasted about within the sanctuary city. I hope he follows through on his promise of welcoming all migrants with open arms so that our overrun and overwhelmed border towns can find relief.”

Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, who pushes open borders as a human rights issue, has requested the District of Columbia National Guard to be activated due to the influx of illegals from Texas. Both D.C. and New York City non-profits are feeling financial stress in taking care of these people who illegally entered through our southern border.

The invasion must end. Kudos to Abbott and his efforts to bring attention to this illegal activity.
