The “impeachment inquiry” approved by Congressional Democrats in the House of Representatives is a modern day lynching.
The meetings are secretive. Transcripts are hidden from the public and even from Republican members of these secret committees. Lawyers from the Justice Department were barred. Republicans were not allowed to call witnesses. There was never a vote by the entire House to officially proceed with impeachment. And worse of all, President Trump had chance to defend himself or to confront his accusers. Democrats won’t reveal any specific charge against him.
Let’s face it. They didn’t like the results of the 2016 presidential race and they have been working feverishly for three years to get rid of a duly elected president.
The latest outrage is mock disgust over Trump’s calling this witch-hunt a lynching. To the worshippers of political correctness and haters of President Trump, the use of the word lynching is racism.
What?
Trump made no mention of race when he described the attack on his presidency.
Yet the Oklahoma Democrat Party released this statement:
“This type of racist language linked to a painful time in our history – the murder of thousands of African Americans, is a slap in the face to the loss of lives and the families who face the emotional trauma that lingers today. Moreover, it continues his pattern of using inflammatory language as a distraction from his disastrous policies,” said Oklahoma Democrat Party Chair, Alicia Andrews.
Years ago in America, a lynching indicated that someone who was innocent was killed because a gang didn’t like him. That shoe fits the Democrat leadership today. The truth hurts and like cockroaches when you turn on the light, they run for cover.
