Kingfisher business owner J.J. Stitt said he will run as a Republican for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Senator Jim Inhofe.  Inhofe has not declared an official re-election campaign for 2020, he has been raising money.

Stitt is the owner of a firearms store in Kingfisher. He’s had experience with law enforcement and corrections. Stitt also manages a family farm and ranch.

Stitt is married to an Oklahoma City Public Schools special education teacher and has four children with a grandchild on the way.

The Senate primary election is set for June 30, 2020.
