Quarterback Patrick Mahones was named Most Valuable Player Sunday after he engineered a comeback as the Kansas City Chiefs beat San Francisco, 31-20, in Super  Bowl LIV.

The last time the Chiefs won the Super Bowl was 50 years ago.

Mahomes, who played for Texas Tech, hit 26 of 42 pass attempts for 286 yards. He had two passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown.

Former Oklahoma running back Damien Williams ran 17 times for 104 yards, including a 38-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter to ice the victory. Williams also caught four passes, including one for a touchdown. Former OU tight end/quarterback caught one pass for nine yards for Kansas City.
