At a time when unemployment rates are at all-time highs because of the damage done by government-required business shutdowns, Senator James Lankford has proudly co-sponsored S386 giving more H-1B visa workers a faster track to green cards. Hundreds of thousands of U.S. IT workers have been displaced over the last 20-plus  years by cheaper foreign workers brought to United States via H-1B and OPT Visas.

The most recent H-1B Visa abuse was the displacement of hundreds of U.S. citizen workers by the Tennessee Valley Authority, a U.S. government corporation.  President Trump rightly fired the TVA Board chairman and another board member and demanded the ouster of TVA’s grossly overpaid CEO ($8m/year) for their poor judgement and lack of loyalty and consideration for U.S. workers.

Recently, President Trump signed the Buy American and Hire American Executive Order limiting H-1B and related visas.

Why are Senator Lankford and other Republican Senators working against the President’s policies? 

Senator Lankford expects your vote on Election Day, but his real loyalty is to the giant tech companies (I.e. Google, Facebook, Amazon, etc.) and other multinational corporations.  You are just an annoyance he has to humor with platitudes to get your vote.

Republicans need to find and support Senator Lankford’s replacement.
