Stitt has issued an order to place a moratorium on all out-of-state travel paid for by the State of Oklahoma and temporarily relaxes peace officer and CLEET certification requirements.
This moratorium is on all out-of-state travel for employees and officers of agencies that is paid for, in whole or in part, by the State of Oklahoma. Any state employee or officer seeking an exception must receive approval from the governor.
The amended Executive order also relaxes statutory requirements for completing training to become a certified peace officer for the duration of the emergency and for thirty days after the emergency is declared to be over.
