God’s Word tells us a day will come when Jesus will appear in the sky and call all his born-again followers to “Come up here.”
16 “For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.”
(1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 NIV).
After this happens, the only people left on this earth are ungodly sinners; i.e., those who do not believe the Holy Bible, and have rejected God’s plan for salvation which is available only through Jesus Christ.
The Apostle Paul says this will happen very quickly and we shall be changed from mortal to immortal.
52 “… in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. 54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: ‘Death has been swallowed up in victory.”” (1 Corinthians 15:52-54 NIV).
Even though it is in the Holy Bible, not all persons who claim to be a Christian, believe in the Rapture – some say it is a myth made up by some religious leaders in the early 1800s.
But now, followers of the New Age movement say they believe the increased sightings of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) is a precursor to the Rapture . . . but the Rapture they believe in has a different purpose. They believe the purpose of the Rapture is to remove all the “haters” from this earth – the “haters” being born-again followers of Jesus Christ.
The New Agers are now promoting the idea that aliens from outer space will “snatch-up” all these Bible-believing “haters.” The earth can then become the Utopia that all non-believers have longed for – and they will be “free” to enjoy a carefree world of unlimited sexual pleasures and self-indulgences without any guilt or condemnation.
New Agers are now calling themselves “The Chosen Ones.” This is a Satan-inspired lie from the pits of Hell.
Believe me, when the Rapture comes, you do not want to be left behind! Because after the Rapture, the wrath of God is unleashed upon this earth during a seven-year period called the Great Tribulation (see Matthew 24:21-29 and Revelation, chapter 5 thru 19 KJV).
Nobody in their right mind would want to be on the earth during the Great Tribulation. So don’t take that risk. God’s Word says:
9 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Romans 10:9 KJV)
Get saved today. Invite Jesus into your heart right now – make him your Lord and Savior. Be ready to meet Jesus face to face.
