Oklahoma Baptist University will hold its 2020 Spring Commencement on Aug. 1 at 10 a.m. The ceremony will be in Raley Chapel on OBU’s campus in Shawnee.
Commencement was originally scheduled for Friday, May 15.
The rescheduling of the graduation event comes as the university is in the midst of completing the final eight weeks of the spring semester through online learning due to the coronavirus pandemic. The semester ended May 14. The university will be offering its summer courses online, so students may take courses remotely this summer as well. For information, visit www.okbu.edu.
With its campus located in Shawnee, OBU offers 10 bachelor’s degrees with 88 fields of study and five master’s degree programs. The Christian liberal arts university has an overall enrollment of 1,868, with students from 35 states and 34 other countries.
