Oklahoma State was held to its lowest point total of the season, losing 83-71 on Saturday at No. 3 Iowa State. The Cowboys were playing their third straight Top 25 opponent.
Iowa State is off to the best start in program history as their record improved to 16-0 overall and 3-0 in the Big 12. They are one of only five unbeaten Division I teams. OSU dropped to 13-3 overall, 1-2 in the Big 12.
Joshua Jefferson led the Cyclones with 19 points and five assists, and Milan Momcilovic scored 18 points for ISU.
The Cowboys were led by Parsa Fallah with 21 points while Anthony Roy made five three-pointers and finished with 19 points. Kanye Clary scored in double figures for the third time in four games with 11. OSU was playing without guard Vyctorius Miller, its second-leading scorer, who was out with an ankle injury.
Iowa State led 42-40 at halftime, and outscored the Cowboys, 41-31, in the second half.
OSU hosted Baylor on Tuesday night and will be at home this Saturday to take on Kansas State at 9:00 p.m. on the CBS Sports Network.
