America is close to having a “one party” government.
Consider this. Liberal Democrat Joe Biden is president. New York Democrat Sen. Chuck Schumer runs the Senate and California ultra-progressive Rep. Nancy Pelosi is in charge of the House.
It gets worse.
Twitter has permanently banned the account of former President Donald Trump – an account that had an incredible 80 million followers. Trump’s posting privileges from Facebook were suspended and probably will be banned, too.
U.S. Josh Hawley, R-Missouri, had his book contract cancelled just because he wanted fair and honest election results.
Parler, a social media alternative to Twitter, has been banned from Google Play store and Apple threatened to remove it from the App Store, which would keep it from Apple devices, unless Parler censors content in a manner acceptable to Apple.
U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, is losing financial support from Establishment Republicans (anti-Trumpers) who want to punish him for supporting the former president.
The excuse for this suppression of free speech is that Trump incited his followers to violence on January 6 at the U.S. Capitol.
The truth is this is what Trump said: “We have come to demand that Congress do the right thing and only count the electors who have been lawfully slated, lawfully slated. I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”
Trump used Twitter to urge the violence to stop.
And it’s not just censorship of Trump but countless Facebook accounts, Twitter accounts, YouTube accounts and other liberal social media are silencing ordinary Americans.
This is the face of tyranny. Americans should abandon these platforms and overwhelming support free and open discourse.
