Behind 42 points from Max Abmas, ORU scored 56 second-half points to shoot past league-leading South Dakota State in a 103-86 victory Saturday afternoon at the Mabee Center.

That win put ORU in third place in the Summit League standings.

The Golden Eagles outscored SDSU by 21 points in the second half overturning a four-point halftime deficit in a lopsided win as their role players stepped into the spotlight Saturday.

But on  Sunday, ORU (11-9, 8-4 SL) fell to South Dakota State (12-5, 6-2 SL), 80-92. at the Mabee Center on the ORU campus.

Abmas followed up his 42-point effort from Saturday by leading the Golden Eagles scoring 30 points.
