University of Oklahoma opened the Big 12 Baseball Championship on Wednesday with a 9-5 win over Oklahoma State, at Globe Life Field, in Arlington, TX.

On Thursday, the Cowboys stayed alive with a 3-2 win over West Virginia. That same day, the Sooners lost a slugfest to Texas Tech, 10-9.

As the tournament continued on Friday, OU and OSU faced each other again, this time, it was the Cowboys coming away with an 8-3 win to advance. The Sooners were knocked out of the double-elimination tournament.

OSU had to play their next two games on Saturday, both against Texas Tech. The Cowboys took the first game, 8-1, and won the second game 6-5, to advance to the title game Sunday against TCU.

TCU got a fine pitching performance from Luke Savage and defeated the Cowboys 12-5, to take the Big 12 Title.

OSU will host one of the NCAA Baseball Regionals, June 2-5.
