Oklahoma State won their opening game of the NCAA Stillwater Regional Friday night as the top-seeded Cowboys beat No. 4-seed Niagara, 19-7, at O’Brate Stadium.

Every Cowboy in the starting lineup recorded a hit in the game, while the Big 12 champions scored multiple runs in six different innings.

Zach Ehrhard led the way with three extra-base hits, including a home run, and four runs batted in. Nolan Schubart also hit a homer and had three RBI.

On Saturday, the Cowboys pitcher Brian Holiday threw a complete game to lead OSU to a 7-1 win over No. 3-seed Florida in the winner’s bracket game.

Holiday was dominant on the mound and improved to 7-3 on the season, recording his second straight complete game win. He struck out 10 batters while allowing just one run and two hits.

The Cowboys played long-ball and hit five home runs in the game. Schubart led the way with a pair of home runs, reaching 23 on the season. It marks the most by a Cowboy since Lamont Matthews had 30 homers in 1999.

OSU and Florida met again on Sunday evening and this time the Gators got the best of the Cowboys, winning 5-2.

With the loss, the 12th-ranked Cowboys fell to 42-18, while Florida improved to 31-28. The two teams were scheduled to play a winner-take-all game Monday at 2:00 p.m. with the winner advancing to the Clemson Super Regional.
