Oklahoma State wrapped up its regular season with a 71-68 win in Lubbock on Saturday.
Caleb Asberry led the Cowboys with a season-high 24 points and a career-high seven three-point field goals. Asberry also added six rebounds and three steals for OSU. Bryce Thompson chipped in 19 points, including 15 in the first half on 3-of-6 shooting from beyond the arc.
Moussa Cisse returned to the starting lineup for the first time since Jan. 2 and posted six points, nine rebounds and four blocks. Cisse passed his block total from last season and sits at 56 blocks this season, despite missing three games.
The Cowboys’ defense didn’t allow any Texas Tech players to reach double figures scoring, the first time an opponent hasn’t had a single player reach double figures since Nov. 9, 2021, against UT Arlington.
The Cowboys completed the season sweep of Texas Tech and improved to 17-14, 8-10 Big 12. Texas Tech dropped to 16-15, 5-13 Big 12.
OSU faced OU in the team’s first game in the Big 12 Tournament on Wednesday night.
