Oklahoma State (9-8, 0-5 in the Big 12) is still looking for that elusive first Big 12 win of the season.
The Cowboys were edged 75-68 Saturday by No. 2 Baylor (15-1, 5-0 in the Big 12) in Stillwater.
“Our kids did exactly what we asked them to do for 40 minutes today and put ourselves in a position to get a win over, again, the team I think is playing the best in the country,” said OSU Mike Boynton.
Isaac Likekele and Cameron McGriff both had 16 points for OSU while Thomas Dziagwa and Lindy Waters added 14 points each.
OSU shot 41% from the field – the highest percentage allowed by Baylor in the last 10 games.
OSU played at Iowa State on January 21 and will travel to Texas A&M Saturday for a 3 p.m. game in the Big 12/SEC Showdown.
