Iowa State’s Milan Momcilovic scored a game-high 29 points to lead the No. 9 Cyclones to an 84-71 win on Saturday in Stillwater. Joshua Jefferson added 20 points for ISU.

Iowa State is now 18-2 overall and 5-2 in the Big 12, while tied for fifth place in the conference. OSU dropped to 14-6 overall, 2-5 Big 12. The Cowboys were 12-1 in non-conference play but have struggled against Big 12 opponents.

Like the weather outside, OSU’s shooting was cold in the first half. The Cowboys missed nine of their first 10 shots and their first six three-pointers. ISU opened with an 11-2 lead and extended it 23-4 just seven minutes into the game.

The Cyclones led by 30 points at halftime, 51-21.

For the Cowboys, Kanye Clary and Jaylen Curry each scored 19 points.

OSU outscored the Cyclones 50-33 in the second half, and they cut their deficit to 10 points on a three-pointer by Clary with 1:37 remaining before the Cyclones hung on for the win.

Oklahoma State will visit Utah on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. Central. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2.
