After clinching their first-ever spot in the December 4 Big 12 Championship game, No. 7 Oklahoma State is eyeing a spot in the College Football Playoff.

The Cowboys (10-1, 7-1 Big 12) host No. 9 Oklahoma at 6:30 p.m. Saturday on ABC-TV. If OSU wins and Baylor beats Texas Tech, OU will be tied with the Bears and Baylor will advance to the championship because they previously beat Oklahoma.

Even if OU beats OSU Saturday, the Cowboys are in the Big 12 Championship in Arlington, Texas. To win the Big 12, the Cowboys must either beat OU twice or beat OU and then beat No. 8 Baylor.

OU must beat OSU in Stillwater and then in Texas to win the league title and have a chance at an invitation to the College Football Playoff. The top four ranked teams in the nation go to the CFP.
