STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State football team held its annual Pro Day Tuesday, as 10 Cowboy seniors worked out in front of NFL personnel from across the league.

OSU’s participants included kicker Matt Ammendola, defensive back Bryce Balous, quarterback Dru Brown, defensive back A.J. Green, offensive lineman Marcus Keyes, wide receiver Jordan McCray, linebacker Philip Redwine-Bryant, defensive lineman Mike Scott, defensive back Kemah Siverand and offensive lineman Johnny Wilson.

Pro Day started at the OSU football weight room inside Boone Pickens Stadium before moving across the street to the Sherman E. Smith Training Center for timed events and position drills.

Some of the best marks of the day included a 36-inch vertical jump from Brown, 28 bench press reps from Wilson and 18 bench press reps from Balous.

Brown’s vertical would have ranked No. 1 among all quarterbacks at the 2020 NFL Combine, while Wilson’s bench numbers would have ranked sixth among offensive lineman and Balous’ would have ranked seventh among defensive backs.

All timed events were kept on handheld stopwatches by NFL scouts.

“It’s something I have been hoping for my whole life since I was a little toddler. I’m almost at the finish line. Now I just have to keep going,” Green said of being drafted.

Wilson impressed scouts with his strength.

“I feel good,” Wilson said of his bench press. “I should have got 30. I rushed into 29 and I should have taken my time on 28 and knocked the last two out.”
