Oklahoma State center Danny Godlevske is one of 40 players on the preseason watch list for the 2021 Rimington Trophy, announced by the Boomer Esiason Foundation.

The award is presented annually to the most outstanding center in college football. The trophy committee worked with Pro Football Focus (PFF) to narrow down its list to the top 40 centers entering the 2021 season.

A graduate transfer, Godlevske began his career at Miami (Ohio). He came to OSU to play an extra season following the NCAA eligibility ruling around COVID-19 and he participated in spring practice with the Cowboys.

Godlevske is a three-time All-MAC performer who is expected to be an immediate contributor for the Cowboy offense. He has played in 43 career games with 40 starts, and he has now been on the preseason watch list for the Rimington Trophy for five seasons. He holds a degree in sport leadership and management from Miami (OH) and is studying for a master’s degree in recreation and leisure management at OSU.
