Oklahoma men’s basketball will open the 2022 ESPN Events Invitational against Nebraska Nov. 24 at 4 p.m. on ESPN.
The Sooners and Huskers are joined by Florida State, Memphis, Ole Miss, Seton Hall, Siena and Stanford. Memphis and Seton Hall made the 2022 NCAA Tournament and the Sooners competed in the NIT last season.
Oklahoma leads the all-time series against Nebraska 104-83 and last played in 2011.
The eight-team tournament is Thanksgiving weekend (Nov. 24-27) at the State Farm Field House at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex near Orlando, Fla.
Each team will compete in one game per day, advancing through a bracket-tournament format. The two teams that remain undefeated throughout will face off in a championship matchup Nov. 27. All games will air on the ESPN networks, including Sunday’s championship game on ESPN (12:30 p.m.).
Ticket information and travel packages will be announced later this summer.
