Tennessee got past the Oklahoma Sooners on Thursday, 9-7, in game one of the regular-season ending series. After Friday’s game two was suspended in the bottom of the seventh due to lightning with Tennessee on top 5-3, that game was concluded as part of a double header on Saturday.
The Volunteers completed the victory Saturday, taking the game with a 9-4 win.
The Sooners won the series finale on Saturday, 12-9, powered by a three-home run game from junior Deiten Lachance. He became the first Sooner with a three-homer game since 2000.
OU ends the regular season with an overall record of 32-20, and 14-16 in SEC play.
Tennessee finished the regular season at 37-19 overall and 15-15 in the SEC.
OU is currently playing in the SEC Baseball Tournament in Hoover, Alabama. The Sooners were scheduled to face LSU in the first round on Tuesday.
