Oklahoma wide receiver Trevon West has entered the NCAA Transfer portal.

From Lamar (Arlington, Texas) High School, West played in eight games as a true freshman during the 2020 season with four catches for a total of 59 yards during the Sooners’ season-opening win vs. Missouri State.

West was regarded as the No. 88 overall player from Texas in his cycle at the time of signing.

The NCAA introduced the portal on Oct. 15, 2018, providing athletes a path to explore options. Players do not need to ask permission from their coaching staff in order to transfer. Schools are free to contact a player without restriction once their name appears in the portal.

Other OU players who will transfer are defensive back Brendan Radley-Hiles, wide receiver Charleston Rambo (Miami), quarterback Tanner Mordecai (SMU), quarterback Chandler Morris (TCU), running back T.J. Pledger (Utah), linebacker Jon-Michael Terry (Tulsa), safety Robert Barnes (Colorado), and tight end Jalin Conyers (Arizona State). Oklahoma State players who will transfer are offensive lineman Trent Pullen; wide receiver Landon Wolf, linebacker Carson Kropp (North Texas), running back Micah Cooper, quarterback Shaun Taylor, tight end Jelani Woods and wide receiver Dee Anderson.
