Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Texas from the Big 12 are advancing to the Super Regionals, having won their respective regionals.

Each Super Regional will consist of three-game series with one team. the winner will be the first team to win two games and will advance to the NCAA Women’s World Series in Oklahoma City at the USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium.  The games at each Super Regional will be played either Thursday-Saturday, May 25-27 or Friday-Sunday, May 26-28.

Oklahoma is the top national seed, having an overall record of 54-1, Big 12 18-0. The Sooners won all of its three games against Hofstra, Missouri and California in the Norman Regional to advance.  Each game was won by the run-rule victory rule with the combined scores of the three games being 38-3. OU will host the Super Regional against Clemson, who is the 16th seed. The games will be on May 26 at 1 p.m. and May 27 at 12 p.m. and if needed continue on May 28.  The Sooners have won six national NCAA Championships since 2000, with the last two being back to back Championships in 2021 and 2022. The Sooners have been ranked No. 1 in all but one week this season by the NFCA Coaches Poll.

Oklahoma State won all its games in the Stillwater Regional  beating UMBC, Wichita

State and Nebraska to advance to the Super Regional hosted by the Cowgirls.  This is  the fourth straight Super Regional the Cowgirls will have played in. The Cowgirls are ranked sixth with an overall record of 44-14, Big 12  10-8. The Cowgirls will host No 19-seed Oregon in the Super Regional at Stillwater on Thursday, May 25 at 8 p.m., Friday, May 26 at 5 p.m., and if needed on May 27th.

The Big 12 had three teams, the most of any conference, to go through the Regional Playoff play to the Super Regionals undefeated.
