No. 2 Oklahoma will open their home schedule with a 6 p.m. kickoff against Western Carolina on September 11.

The game will only be televised on a pay-per-view basis because the TV networks chose not to schedule it for over-the-air broadcast. The cost depends on the distributor.

Some providers offering the telecast include DirecTV, Cox Cable, U-Verse and Vyve.

Cable TV subscribers must have digital cable to order the telecast. Customers can order the game from their set-top boxes or by calling their program provider.

DISH and Sling are not expected to carry the broadcast. The game will also not be available on the Oklahoma Sooners Roku app due to Roku’s in-app purchasing requirements. The Oklahoma Sooners app is also not supported on the Amazon Fire TV Cube or Google Chromecast.
