Oklahoma State offensive lineman Josh Sills is one of 80 players on the 2021 Outland Trophy preseason watch list, announced morning by the Football Writers Association of America.
It is presented annually to the nation’s top interior lineman on offense or defense.
A graduate transfer from West Virginia, Sills arrived in Stillwater last season. He played several positions in 2020 filling in for injuries along the offensive line as he started six games at left guard, one at left tackle and the final four games at right tackle.
His play last season earned him a first team All-Big 12 selection by the AP and honorable mention recognition by the league’s coaches. He enters the 2021 season as the most experienced Cowboy on the roster having played in 38 career games with 35 of those being starts.
