For years Tulsa was known as the “Oil Capital of the World.” Also it was known as the home of Oral Roberts and the “Buckle of the Bible Belt.”

Today, that image has changed to a Tulsa Massacre, now published in dozens of magazines and even viewed on 60 Minutes. They claim many mass graves even though none has been found.

Mayor G.T. Bynum spent more than $200,000 and continues to spend taxpayer money to prove and advertise this erroneous claim.

Never in history have mass murderers taken time to bury their victims which would enhance their chances of getting caught. Bodies are left in the streets or wherever for dogs or any wild beast to eat.  Many will take extra time to steal watches, rings, cash and jewelry, which is the same motivation that fuels today’s reparations.

Last month, the official number of these tragic deaths remains at 39, the same figure given in 1921. Let’s work at restoring beautiful Tulsa to its rightful place in history and not selling out for the love of money.
